Garden Objectives:

Las Flores Community Garden is based on organic principles. We provide garden education and workshops. We donate garden produce to local food banks. We promote community beautification. Las Flores Community Garden is a nonprofit community-based garden that promotes and upholds organic gardening methods. We are located near the Conejo Creek Dog Park and the Conejo Creek Northwest Equestrian Area, west of the 23 freeway at Avenida de las Flores in Thousand Oaks, California. The Conejo Recreation and Park District allocated space for the garden, and the city of Thousand Oaks supports the garden by making a much-appreciated grant program available. This program makes it possible for the Las Flores Community Garden to promote community education and involvement in organic gardening methods and helps keep the cost of garden membership affordable for those who can benefit the most from it. Local assistance agencies regularly receive donations of fresh produce from the Las Flores Community Garden.
