Honoring the Life of Ed Jones
It is with great sadness to hear of Ed Jones’s passing on January 24th. Ed was instrumental in the founding of Las Flores Community Garden, and continued to support our incredible growth as a Board of Director with CRPD. JoAnn, his wife, leased a plot with us for many years, and Ed always wore a huge smile while here, especially during tomato season. He loved our community of gardeners, and we loved him and his family. We will miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Ed’s life on Saturday, February 22nd at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 533 Camino Manzanas, Thousand Oaks.
